best paid directories?

I'm sure this has been asked before. And if it has, if someone can point me to the thread that mentions it, that would be appreciated as a search didn't do me any good.

What are the best 2nd tier directories to submit our sites to and actually expect to get some human traffic, and of course, a boost in SERPS?

But u can submit to abilogic.com and abifind.com - I heard they are very good.

Also u can submit to our PR5 Directory - HiiFii

 

Why pay hundreds of dolars on paid directorys when you can submit to the lot of webdirectorys that are free and are out there . Or pay someone to do it .

There are alot of good web directories that are worth the submission:

Well...for a few reasons, actually. Free is nice but you must remember that many free directories don't get alot of human foot traffic. Some of the 2nd tier directories that only charge, say $25 for submission, get some decent foot traffic. if you just convert 1 visitor into a client, then you make your money back and then some. I'm a designer so the ROI is very significant compared to a paltry $25/year

 

www.r-fd.com is a good directory. gets 50+ visitor on alexa.com

I get about 200 unique daily and growing and it's for free.

Taisoft- BTW, you may want to consider putting in a "contact us" link on your website. for example, it says that it costs $3 for a preferred listing. but is that $3/month or a year? you never know if people have a question

 

Driven you get trafic from searchengines don't have to relay on trafic from directorys .

From directorys you get backlinks to your site this get's you PR ang a good SERP position and that get's you trafic .... it's a simple ecuation that need only your time for submiting to free (a lot of free directorys have good trafic and if you get lauchy and submit when your new afther they turn to payed your link is till there it happened to me a lot)
Soo i think why throw money on the window when this can be done only be spending your time or paying someone to doying (less and only one time then to the payed directorys)

I have started my own directory network recently and I'm promoting them hard through adwords and such...

All my directories are paid and offer permanent listing...be it featured, regular or 3-way reciprocal and inclusion fees are reasonable.

In my opinion paid directories are worth submitting, as only serious sites are submitted. Free directories are prone to spam and MFA submissions...not a good place to get your links from.
