google mail does it automatically, you don't need to setup anything. its similar to how @googlemail.com works.

I know of this trick but its useless IMO. You may as well sign up to google apps and have a catch all. Everyone must have a spare domain that they can use. That way, you can easily reply to the email from account. eg, I use If I ever need to send from this, I can set dp@ in my control panel. If you haven't got a spare domain, you can buy one for $10 a year. Some forms don't like "+" in email addresses either.

Quite an old trick, but yeah, you can find several uses for it. Just don't imagine it can help you in all occasions! A whole lot of sites filter out the "+" sign in an email address during the sanity check.

 

Cool, I'm impressed with the responses. This really does help with craigslist ads and classified ad sites!

You can also use this for building up your site reputation easily.. How?

Get your site a feedburner widget for your rss. Register your self using this email and walla, people thought you have a cool site with many followers..

It's a spam tip that will work right up to the point that gmail bans your address. But obviously that doesn't matter because you are not using it for a legitimate purpose.

And whomever you are spamming will still have your IP and can easily block you that way.

or you can add . (dot) in your gmail address like and both same gmail address

 

Pretty old trick..Problem is most sites do not let you sign in with a '+' in the email address..

So, what I do is use yet another trick on gmail where is the same as or , , etc..

If you have a long username on gmail, you can potentially create several dozens of email address..
