Hi, you did enought, maybe you can report spam to Matt Cutts, who is the leader of the Google Spam Team. Of course you are not must to do this.

Report it to their ISP, hopefully they will take it further and you will not have much more to do. However they could have used a proxy to upload/download whatever they did, so the loop could become pretty big to follow.

the best step is to delete the content and his account and banning his ip, you have already done that, now if that person makes an account from another ip again and does anything illegal, complain to his ISP and/or FBI.

Why do that? Just leave the guy sort it out himself, you will only make things worst for him and possibly even make them Cyber Police believe he has something to do with it.

Huh? I don't want child porn around just like any other person, but what your doing will just make things worst for the thread starter. Atleast tell him what your doing so he doesn't get confused when someone contacts him about it that he doesn't know.

Stop trying to b all e-hard too with your caps lock, grow up.

Atleast someone agrees with me. Im not trying to say that I don't care about this, but he should tell the thread starter before doing anything as it is really none of his business to get involved.

Think he did because he said about the bandwidth use going up so high, still good to check though, just a shame what the bandwidth was being used for.

I have been involved with several child porn investigations (as an investigator, not a subject lol) and it would benefit you to be the reporter and hope that the police do not find out any other way. Where are the files hosted out of (which country)? If it is the US, you should report it to the FBI, if it is the Netherlands, whatever you have, Germany, BKA, etc.etc. as that is the country that will have primary jursidiction until other subjects are found. The BKA in Germany just busted (about 2 months ago) a big child porn ring where they were distributing them through cell phones.

The BKA, FBI, etc. monitors things extensively, especially when it comes to P2P sites, and generally, they find ways to monitor the actual website the things are coming from. It would benefit you greatly if you reported it, with IP log files, a backup so they can have the images as evidence (in the US it requires 3 images).

You have no clue. None does stuff like this without being behind elite proxies, unless it's the case where the uploader has no clue.

BTW, I wouldn't mess with the authorities, they are totally useless to do any good and help, at any case. [In my country at least but logically this must apply to any authority or police member in the universe]

Actually Silver, it doesn't apply to any and all police authority in the universe. It must only apply to you guys. The FBI can easily track these "elite" proxies through the IP's all the way back to the original person. Don't be fooled to think that proxies will save you from many of the investigative bodies of the west. BKA, I know from working closely with them, have done it plenty of times. MI-5 is the same. And guess what? They all cooperate. Don't forget about Europol and Interpol.

That is the most childish (hmm don't know if that's the right word) comment I have ever seen. You don't trust me and think I don't take the right decision? Geez....

Just to let you all know, I have reported everything via Interpol and explained my situation. They will get back to me with the results which I'll post here, maybe someone is interested as well :)

    GOOD JOB!!!!!

Glad your doing something about it more than just suspending/terminating them. They will make all necessary coordinations with different investigative body's around the world until they get a conviction. Way to go man. I'd advise you to just keep a copy of everything you still have, you never know when they will ask for the stuff. Especially the images.

I am on the side of never reporting anything to the 'police' directly.. Ever.. And before people freak out, I have several family members in law enforcement..

If you want to report them then do it through an attorney.. Let your lawyer speak with the authorities.. Let him be the point of contact.. It is amazing at how little it takes for you to go from good sammaritan to suspect in the eyes of the law..

As an example.. I know a pawn broker that contacted the police because he suspected a group of people of trying to sell him stolen property.. The police asked the pawn broker to buy the items so that they could get a sting going.. 2 months later the group was arrested.. All items were confiscated.. Pawn broker was never was reimbursed for the cash he layed out "helping" the police.. 6 months later his shop was raided and closed and the yellow taped while they "investigated him" for bying stolen property..

They found nothing.. And after 4 days left him in peace.. But now he has a reputation in town for buying stolen property and his business has been hurt because of it..

All because he tried to be a good guy and help get criminals off the street..
