Earnings are Sucking Bad this month

Discussion in 'Reporting & Stats' started by adwordaffiliate, Jul 7, 2006.

Ever since the "Maintenance" carried out on the 27th I've been getting an abysmal CTR & ECPM....They've started quite a lengthy discussion about it over on Webmaster World however I can't see how so many people could suffer such a loss of earnings within such a short timeframe unless there was a reporting problem....

And if they recognise a reporting problem, will publishers get credited with lost earnings?

Would be nice to see G speak up & give us some information for a change about what is actually going on.....

Man, I know! Yesterday I got 34 clicks and just $2.56. For one channel I got 22 clicks and $0.53. I am getting the clicks but the earnings are completely disgraceful now. We put so much effort into getting a click all for a few cents, losing a visitor to another cheap website. I'm getting really frustrated.

I am doubting if google is implementing some new CTR and link rate system, which can compress the earning of publishers so much.

That would be too much. Then most of us would make nothing. I guess many publishers would finally leave them if the "smart pricing" works in this way
$2.90/94 clicks, this is even much lower than bidvertiser and other alternatives. Where is attractivenss of adsense?

My stats are strange too.

Date Impr. Earnings
5 july 2006 925 USD 3,30
6 july 2006 1 769 USD 3,59
7 july 2006 5 975 USD 10,89
8 july 2006 6 075 USD 9,99
9 july 2006 4 097 USD 6,75
Code (markup):
See, impressions are up 6 times on 7 july in comparison to 5 july.

Earnings are only up 3 times.

Adsense ad impressions depend on your website impressions. So if any of the guys posting in this thread reported lower impressions, just go and see your WEBSITE server logs and figure out why do you get a lower number of visitors.

A "lower Adsense impressions" statement has nothing to do with Adsense itself.

As far as CTR goes, why would you blame Adsense for a low one anyway ? It's not Adsense that changes your website.

Maybe the your visitors are becoming more and more ad blind.
