I am promoting clickbank from last 3 months and got 20 sales till now with 4 refunds. I am not at all happy with inconsistent sales. In Last 30 days I got 331 hops and 8 Sales. Is that Ok? I only used article marketing to promote products. And I am using Squidoo Lens as my landing page.
1:41 Isn't bad at all.. What is the time frame for these hops? - and yes, thats also good for bum marketing. However, I'd invest in your own site.. probably will get you more sales

You're doing very good work, if this amount of money is for only one product, so you can easily copy your method for other products to multiply your earnings.
i agreee, 1:41 is pretty good ... you don't just need more hops though, you need more quality hops ... or laser-targeted as some people call them ...
1:41 is FAAAR from "inconsistent". It is very good! You just need more traffic. More traffic = more hops = more sales
. The last weeks i am converting 1:30 and even less for one of the most competitive guides on the net Truth about abs. With only the power of article marketing. Here is how i do it 1) Breaking it down into small niche sites. The market is so big that i have broken into less competitive niches. I have build some mini sites about ab exercises for men, stomach exercises for women, nutrition to get lean. 2) My best converting site is a one page site (landing page so to speak) optimized for mistakes women make in their cardio workouts to lose belly fat and become lean. (besides the landing page there are another ten informative articles about the subject) This site is converting at 1:7 of course this is my best site i have sites that are doing it no so good think about one sale for every hundred hops or more. 3) I've spent some time to read about copywriting. Believe me this stuff does works and it's a lot more then writing a who else want headline. In fact i implement some hidden NLP writing into my pages. 4) I become angry when people still ask on this forum is clickbank a scam with all their get rich quick ebooks and torrent promoting stuff. Clickbank is only a third party that takes care of the affiliate, the vendor and the customer. Some great authors do use clickbank and on the flip sites scammers are using it to. 5) So i can give the visitor of my site information for free but if they want the full picture they have to invest. Impossible to do with crap products. 6) After a day of "work" (between brackets because i love it) i truly believe that i have made a few persons happy and the vendor of course as well. 7) I have refunds as well for TAB around 2% according for Burn the Fat i have 0,6% refunds but that does not mean that the product is a scam. Now you think this guy must be rich then you are wrong. 1) Traffic comes in slowly of course i can do social bookmarketing et cetera but then i will see a drop in conversations. 2) It take me pretty long to write an article one hour or more is not an exception. But then my article do contain actually tips to improve peoples live and not a 5 tips article on. 3) I have a very weak attention span but I am following a course to overcome it and to train my memory as well. At the end of the summer or perhaps earlier i want to memorize the Truth about abs book this way i can do much more in the same time.
Anything under 1:100 is fine with bum marketing. I even promote some products that convert closer to 1:250 but the traffic is easy so I stick with them. At a rate of 1:41 you should easily be able to make multiple sales every day with bum marketing techniques such as writing articles, yahoo answers, social bookmarking and maybe a blog.
Thats a pretty darn good conversion ratio. In general the 1% rule is what i consider for rough estimates of that basically one percent of my trafficc will convert. So your ratio is stellar. Either its a good week, an amazing salesletter or very targetted traffic or a combination of those. Keep it up, expand your traffic!
Thats actually very good for bum marketing. I would be happy to get 1 sales for every 70 hops. How many articles do you have total for this product?
