    There are few domains like .CA and .EU which required that the registrant be of the same country as the registry is.

    .in does have any geo restriction for registration. Any body is allowed to register .in domain. Indialinks.com and directi.com are reliable.

    Yes you can definitely register .IN domains. I would personally recommend you to use ResellerClub.com (Directi) for your .IN domains.
