what's your monitor screen? Is it LCD or a tube?

When I had tube CTR my eyes used to hurt a lot.
I too use PC a lot & work from home. must tell you: you need to take breaks on regular intervals...

Try rubbing your hands then put it in your eyes for about a minute, relax before going back to work. Really works for me :)

are you still using a crt screen? or lcd? If your on a crt you probably need an anti glare screen plate/panel to clip over screen, I think they're on ebay and they help to filler lum and hue.

I had similar problems all the time. Use refresh tears (Excellent eye drops by Allergan). You'll surely find them in your nearby pharmacy (Unless you live in Gobi Desert!)

Use the LCD new screens because it doesn't produce bad lights as the old ones (big ones), and take a break between each period of time where u feel u should be away from the screen.
Sit in a good and comfortable position and try not to come close to the screen.

I myself had eye ulcer due to lenses back in n0v 08' and now i wear special glasses for pc so ask your doc about it and take a break after 30-45 mins and give 1 minute rest to your eyes and blink them and see here and there for relaxation.
    Thanks

I'm on my pc all day long in front on 2 screens, you have to take a break from the screens during the day, and you might look into getting a better monitor.

It seems that working on the PC has taken a huge toll on your eyes. To prevent further deterioration of the eyes, you immediately need to start eye-exercises which help you relieve from all your problems. Working on the PC for a long time is bound to put strain on the eyes and this needs to be prevented to keep all eye-ailments at bay. The Bates-Method is a wonderful method of naturally improving eyesight.
