Comments about spam get deleted in Matt Cutt's blog

Is there a reason for that?

Two different comments from me were deleted the last 2 days and several other people have reported too that their comments are gone.

I wrote that there is this guy with his millions or billions spam-pages in Google and I mentioned one example: 4107.iy6w49i.info. I asked what the reason is that this spammer's network who has copied thousands of pages hasn't been kicked out. And it was deleted

Welcome to Google monopoly game. Don't expect anything from internet/high tech giants. You should be glad they allowed it to post your stuff, even if they deleted it later lol

People there say that it's matt's personal blog and that matt is doing people a favour by informing them of what's going at google. All I read there was appreciation of matts friends... Some suggestions like links from non-related sites are no good, a suggestion which this spammer you mentioned didn't take and finally landed up at 1 positions in google for some very competitive terms.
I can see how google's getting smarter each day...
Their software's broken and now it's time to blame webmasters on their linking methods. Very smart...

Like it or not it's Matts blog and I can assure you, he reserves the right to delete any post he wants, at any time, with out giving a reason. Don't blame him either. Anyway, I think that those few posts went a long way in getting some action.

Isn't the best place to ask why your comment was deleted. You can contact the blog owner instead of taking it out at him in public forums.

Sorry, I'm just frustrated because for ten days now I have sent dozens of spam reports to Google about that huge problem and there has been NO reaction yet.

It makes me angry that a stupid polish guy comes, copies all my pages, mixes them with his spam and three weeks after he has registered his thousands of domains he outranks my whole site which has been around since 1997.

Is Google just lazy in kicking out this guy or what??? I mean it shouldn't be so difficult!

Many of these .info site that are reported in other threads are alrady gone. I suspect that they are working on fixing the gaping hole however, at the rate they seem to fix other problems, it could be a while before they get a handle on it.

It's kind of like the party, where there's this really old guy who's like "dude.. this is totally awesome." Kind of out of place.. awkwardly trying to use what he thinks is the kid's newest lingo...

Or when those touring drug education groups come and rap at your school about alcohol...

Yea, that's kind of analogous to google and their "we wanna know what you guys out there want, we wanna have a conversation with you dudes!"

    AWESOME!

Maybe they were deleted because it was not related to the post? Off-topic ie.
