How long the 301 redirect takes you to transfer your PR to a new domain?

Do you try the 301 redirect? How long you see the PR transfer?

I made a new 301 redirect, wish the new domain can get PR ASAP.

Generally one PR update cycle, but if the pages you are trying to redirect are in the supplemental index...it could take forever.

    Thanks.

And if the old domain has been transfered to a new one, the old domain's PR would be change to zero? Could I reuse the old one?

Oh, nice. All these while I thought once you 301 redirect, your PR is gone/not transfered.
