What tools do you use for doing keyword research? I am going to give my website a makeover and change it to CSS. Before I do that I want to make sure I am targetting my best keywords for return on investment and keyword effectiveness index After knowing what tools to use I have to work out how I find my best keywords for return on investment and keyword effectiveness index lol
I use the google adword keyword suggestion tool. In fact, KEI does not mean much to me. Since it does not tell how difficult to attain the first few positions. You may be able to get into the first 100 easily no matter what the KEI is. But getting from 100 to 1-5 is the real challenge.
Keyword tracker ( The free one ) is fantastic. Also consider using the free stuff available at google adsense They have tons of stuff for your keyword research Hope this helps
When brainstorming I've found this Search Marketing Tool to be effective. For one thing it is faster than other keyword tools, delivering results instantly. It can definitely assist in understanding a target audience and their potential search habits. I can't post live links yet, just search "Google Sets". Greg
Good Adwords Keywrod Tool is the best place to do your keyword research and pick the right keywords to target.
Keyword tools are ok to use as a rough guide, but that's about it. To see what I mean, search for dog training in Google's keyword tool, and in Wordtracker, and http://tools.seobook.com/keyword-tools/seobook/index.php. You get 3 drastically different results. Google gives you 1,000,000, Wordtracker 1347, and seobook 1273. Big difference. Trying to target keywords based on the results of those tools is like shooting at a moving target.
i was wondering like if it gives you 3 different answers between google, word tracker and seobrook can you like guess so some where in the middle of all three and then determine if that would be a good keyword to use do anybody know anything about good methods to determine which keyword tool is better thanks for the helpful information
