    I just checked this report

Interestingly the report says that revenue loss is borne by the publisher leading to higher profits by google. Just check the last quarter where google profit increased by 50 million $ and publisher payout dropped by 40 million $.

This probably explains why there is so much discontent among publishers these days...

But, I am sure this thing will not last long and every monopolistic leader has his days cut out, the sooner he begins to rob away innocent people!

    Regards,

I agree with Rightman and hope to see a new contender which could compete against Adsense.

Don't you know the trend this days? People who got banned from Adsense rebelling and trying to prove that Adsense is not everything.

If Google do really take such a cut then it is simply up to their rivals to offer a better payout. If they do and they prove it, then publishers will move and then Google will have to change their ways to re-compete.

i dont think they pay that little, i have hundreds of $2+ clicks per month and i find it hard to believe that the advertiser paid $6 or more for those....

recently i got a $6.50 cent click for insurance, at 33% that woulda cost the advertiser $20, though possible but unlikely

Learn to read, nowhere does it say they share 33% only.

Correct. For example, Adsense is not Google's only revenue source. So Adsense payouts can be decreasing while revenue from other sources increases.

Regardless of how much revenue Adsense is sharing with publishers, they're still the most profitable network for most of the people I know. I think this says something about the global economy in general. They're not the best option for everyone, but I think they do a pretty decent job of giving people the opportunity to monetize their sites. Premium publishers doubtless receive much higher payouts than small guys, as well.

Where does the revenue coming in from youtube, orkut and other sources of income go then? The 33% figure is wrong. I estimate adsense revenue share to be around 60%

When my avarage CPC is 0.30 USD, this means that advertiser is giving avarage 300 USD per click. Whan a crisis are we talking about, when companies are paying so much
    I'm ironic

Id say its proably around 60 percent based on my experience from adwords and from being a publisher.

The graph showing that google are paying 76% of the income to the publisher at the Q408, but compare to the last quater (Q308) which is 79%. It means that google is paying lesser and lesser, even the total income at Q308 is greater than Q408 but google get more profit at Q408 since they reduce the revenue from 79% to 76%. Or saying that adsense piblisher earning is drop

Are the graph showing this massage?
Google income is increasing, and Q408 is the highest, which is 1.69 billions.
