I recently found some videos tutorials on LYnda.com Are they worth the buy or they cover only basics...??
I would say that they are easy to follow and comprehensive... They cover the basics and go under a certain level of detail. So, if you are a beginner or intermediate those tutorials are just fine, if you are looking for more advanced stuff, you better start searching for something else ...
I would recommend trusting your own instinct. Personally, I find CSS is fairly easy to learn without the involvement of money. There's thousands of websites on the web that teach you the ins and outs of CSS, so I would rely on the free resources before relying on the paid ones. Google, of course, will expand on that for you.
I also feel CSS is easy, i saw Lynda tutorial and was bored like hell ...they are not for intermediate even..They concentrate more on the usage of Dreamweaver rather than on coding part of CSS.... i prefer hand coding though...
Lynda's tutorials are quite famous, but yeah too boring as well. I started CSS learning online, and i must say its not that tough, But yeah takes some serious efforts as well, if you want to make yourself perfect with CSS.
You must try Google! and search for Free CSS Tutorials you may surely get best results for basic tutorials I also learned from different sites listed there
I personally love the video tutorials at Lynda.com, but for learning CSS I would have opted for free tutorials any day. Have a look at: W3Schools.com (CSS). Start with the tutorial, try the demo and you will learn and understand how CSS works soon enough. Video tutorials are nice, but not really necessary, at least not for this. Edit: D'oh. I was away from the screen for a couple of hours and didn't think of hitting refresh in this thread when I came back. Kudos to kmofo
