As soon as you get the minimum number of posts (10?) here on Digital Point, you will qualify for signature links. Put your new site's home page in your DP signature.

Putting your site in your signature helps to get your site index.

I asked this question yesterday at http://forums.digitalpoint.com/showthread.php?t=1268899

I got a lot of replies. If you had posted your URL here, it would have gotten indexed within 24 hours like in my case.

If you don't want to post your URL link to a trusted site. I linked to Wikipedia and my site got indexed.

Have to agree, so far bookmarking to Digg has been the best way to get a site index in a day; but, if you have a WP blog, I would definitely use the Sitemap Generator Plugin, great plugin and this will get a GoogleBot to your site in an hour (sometimes).

Use your signature, using the best keyword as anchor text. Also you can go to https://adwords.google.com/select/KeywordToolExternal to find wich keyword has more searches (which keyword related to you site) and then use it the link on your signature.
That will NOT be enough to get traffic, but will be to get the site properly indexed.

The best practice is to get indexed in the Google is to bookmark the website on Google bookmark , and submit your website in the DMOZ. And to try submitting you website to Google indexed pages like any blog if already indexed in the Google and if you comment on that page then there are more likely chance to get your link index quick.
