    Only if you use the wrong list. If you use the right one, and are really picky, it's seemless. And that's for both direct mail and email. The only time a potential customer gets upset is when the message doesn't apply to them.

    Using email list is not a good thing build your own it will get more responses as it is your opt in list with more trust from your readers.

    There are many things you can do to build up a list.

    I wonder how many of the emails on these lists that people are renting and buying are still working ones. The majority of spam that I get are to my really old email addresses. I keep getting spam telling me that I live in a town that I moved from over 4 years ago.
