    Q2 = April - June

    "Early" Q2 means April

    It doesn't really matter if you wait or not. Depending on which license you buy, you can download updates for one year. Unless some sort of catastrophe occurs, a stable version should be out or be close to being released before a year from now.

    Does this mean that vbSEO will die?

    I think VBSEO will end up because it has very good SEO functions built in.

    vBulletin don't usually stick to their release dates. I can see it being released in early 2010!

    Why not? If they're going to make it SEO friendly, with SEO friendly URLs, I see no reason why anyone would PAY for vbSEO.

    Well I know that I wouldn't pay for vBSEO, but there are vBSEO fanboys that swear by it. They think that it is the key to all forums' success and without it, vBulletin is useless.
    People think that vBSEO will optimize forums better than vB 4 and will have more "features" to it.

    As long as they are within their one-year update period. After a year of the owned licence, it is $40 to renew upgrade access. If you wait more than 60 days to renew the upgrade access, it goes up to $60.

    vbseo will have more features out of the box. Jelsoft is going to be too busy with vbulletin itself to start pleasing everyone with various seo science..

    Jelsoft should be smart about this. They are gonna raise the price for 4 that's almost for sure. People fork over a lot of money for VBseo and that's terrible. If VB did the same thing with it's base package and charged $25 more it would be worth it.

    The list of features being added aren't fully available but that short list does detail some interesting things. VB seems like it's done being forum software. That's been the trend but oh boy they want to be a full CMS now.
