When i insert the channel into the google-adsense code, do i put the channel name or that number ID into it? Cause atm, it says Google Channel: ""
name the channel for the url of the page or name of the page or give it a unique name so when you get a click you know where it came from
I don;'t think you get what i'm asking lol. At th emoment my code says google_ad_channel = "" I've made a channel but when i place it in between the "" is it the name of it like "channelnameimade" or the ID - 49763135 thing.
Your google adsense channel is only on your account where you can access it and check who visti your site and where the clicks are coming from. That to me is the adsense url channel.
Thats the old adsense code.. The channel and the ad unit itself now identified as ad slot. I guess inserting the channel name or the slot ID will not do.
I have several channels and just simply create a name; though as an option I am sure I have have added text between the ''' in the code as reference when viewing the source code of my sites on the internet. I think the channel ID number is used for tracking purposes, which relates to that channel and it's associated ad (which I think also has it's own number, I guess if no channel is assigned, again for tracking). You can see these numbers in the Adsense Setup - manage ads and channel sections in adsense...
