I found that Google is giving less priority to Meta tags and giving more values to content.

current top search ranking factors are keyword title text, inbound anchor text links, global link popularity and site age. what are you missing?

Changes happen every day, however it seems obvious if someone notice downfall in ranking in SERPs because people might have searched less for specific keywords or there might have changes in search pattern. :)

Are you talking about the recent Vince update that assigned higher ranking based on established brands? Google always does this kind of things causing headaches for one and all in the name of improving search result quality.

Around the time of each major PR update, the speculation is always rife about a big change in their Algo....Many try to preempt their action and spend numerous hours trying to research it.....

People would do well to just focus on good content and good networking.....

    Regards,

I think major changing may be around pagerank and blog comments as many are abusing it by using black hat techniques.

The problem is only Google knows what they are up to, no one else. If anyone is telling they are just making an educated guess. So best for us is not to do any illegal things that Google do not like and concentrate on quality of out sites. :)
