    Hi,

Iv'e been having a look around DP at all the services on offer for article writing and re-writing. What alarms me is the fact that a lot of it is on offer at what can only be described at rock bottom prices. As a print journalist I enjoy writing but couldn't possibly think of working for 1c per word (especially for unique newly researched and written articles). Further investigation reveals this to be on offer by those who often don't have a complete grasp of English.

Therefore I have decided to offer my services as a writer/re-writer, and show that some decent work can be done at a reasonable price. I am educated to degree standard and have worked in print journalism for five years.

    Prices:

    Re-writing........1c per word
Writing (unique)..........2.5c per word. I can research and write on all subjects, and can incorporate keywords and links to your saturation requirements

    Discounts available for bulk/repeating orders.

I have 1 unique article available (500 words) for review, and will also write a short 200 word article on the subject of your choice for review.

As for re-writing if you are serious and have a repeat order i'll re-write your first two (short) articles free.

    Interested parites PM me

How did you figure out that $5.00 for 500 words article is the Best price?

Just because you have degree in English doesn't make you any better than some shmack
who knows his subjects and write article for $3.00 to pay his bills

You degree means nothing in here, but the price we pay you does.
    ;)

Other than "replying fast," what actually was the point in your post? If you were'nt happy with what was on offer, surely the back, or X button would have been quicker and handier for you? I merely wish to offer quality work for a price that is only slightly higher than the minimum paid for "some shmack" to do the work.

uselessreplies......gets the posts up I suppose

Actually his degree means a hell of a lot, as does experience in print journalism. People who write for LESS than 1 cent a word simply cannot write. If they could, they would be able to get plenty of work at much higher prices like the rest of us can. If you're happy with garbage articles written by people who have no idea what they are talking about, great - leave this guys thread for people that actually care about the content they put on their sites.

Having said that, you might want to the fix the minor typos in your post, CMS! ;]

Then stop insulting hard working writers by shining your pedigree in their faces.

Maybe for you $3.00 is nothing but for them "those who often don't have a complete grasp of English" $3.00 for 10 minutes of writings will put in their packets $18.00 per hour and/or even half of $18.00 is more than their neighbors are making in 1 month.

Knowledge of English and good grammar doesn't make you any smarter than others but snobbish …. with degree in English language.

    journalist, eh

since no one in the thread actually offered i will take you up on the review can you do it on auto loans?
    other concerns:
    1. Do you guarantee all articles will pass copyscape?
    2. what is the estimated time of completion per article?
    3. Can you write articles that are SEO?

Get back to me on my questions to see where we can go from there.

    Hi CMS,
How do you naturally write, UK or US?
I'm asking because I've found in the past there is a great deal of difference in the style depending on where you reside. For example UK writing feels very posh, whil US writing can feel very shloppy/laid back.

I'd be interested in you answering this question and perhaps also sending me a few samples if you don't mind. Preferably something in the human/environmental/earth niche!
I may have much work for you in the future. Also do you do sales copies? PR? eBooks?

Look forward to hearing from you.

Actually he worked hard through four years of college to get his degree...

You don't want "knowledge of English". Neither do you want "good grammar". You can very well hire a butcher to write your articles. People hiring writers don't need "smart" people. They just need people with writing skills. Last time I checked English language proficiency and good grammar were of utmost importance.

Fast replies don't mean fastidious replies.

Having seen all the replies to this post, I personally believe that everyone has their own right to set their own individual rates. If you find their rates suitable, it's fine. If not, just skip along to someone whose rates suits you.
