I recently read that moneybookers has been banned in the US - is this just a rumor? I read a few articles about this topic and many say that you are able to withdraw but not pay into moneybookers, although a few reports are that its banned.
I googled to find something about this but came up with nothing. Also I never heard about that. I doubt that Moneybookers could be banned in USA. Ebay recently approved moneybookers as a payment method as well so that can't be true.
I want to know myself !!! - I hire a few writers from the US and it was more pratical for me to send a few payments to moneybookers as means of payment , as they dont take fees for recieving cash like paypal. One told me she cant use the account anymore (and she already had one activated ) another in the US told me that she wasnt able to open one. I have also read online about this too (a few articles posted around the net) so I am in the dark as much as everyone else ! I just want to clarify if its true or not, was I lied to ?? Or is it true !!!
Moneybookers is not banned in US is there any verification that its banned, we are using money bookers, anyone confirmed this by writing to their support?
few months ago MB didn't allow more US residents to register there, but this isn't running any more. Now MB accepts us ppl, my friend just registered and could use MB fine.
Two of my regular clients was paying me via moneybookers and in the end of December they said they can't send payment via moneybookers outside US anymore but they can receive and withdraw it .. I could not find any source to get it comfirmed but i experienced it myself so i just shared it with you .. Maybe one should contact mb for this problem so that we get to know a solid answer that why it happened with US mb users Thanks PHYza
I recently knew that us can't send customer to customers payments but only can use MB over ebay, this sucks.
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Moneybookers However, Moneybookers US customers cannot receive money and foreign customers cannot upload funds using cards or accounts located in the US
Moneybookers is accepted as a form of payment already? Anyway, what I know is you cant use MB to send to online bookies, casinos based in UK, if your MB is based from the Philippines, and some other countries.
Hopefully it's not getting a bad name, I like MB, they accept paying for Sports Betting unlike others
no more new users from usa is allowed to sign up for money bookers, the main reason as far i know is money laundering using cc's. there were intense money laundering using stolen cc's
