    dont think like that,
you should take a look at how your comments are looking
-your comments must be related to posts
-your comments must not contain advertisement
-you should only put a nice title or username with your website in it

You should post a comments on relevant blogs and relevant comments for your site and the comments should be informative not just an advertisement.

Yes, but dun it can't be to short, and in decent english. Who write in decent english now? Just xoxo won't do.

No need to put ads, a Title in the space in between will certainly get it blocked. And those doing blog comments will definitely have "something something" as the title for blog comments.

URL should ideally be the root domain, else either it get route to the approver or discarded straight. Haiz... terrible!!!

I think I will start a network of dofollow blogs, just for SEO uses. Then everything I post will get approved. :p
    No problems anymore.

Comments are not meant to promote your own services. Make sure to comment on related topic and don't try to self promote yourself...:)

Are you kidding me? If you put a few minutes of effort into writing comments you'd have no problem getting them approved. It's not hard to do. Your comments generate content for the blogs and they in turn send you "link juice" traffic, etc. It's meant to be give and take. Not just take, take, take.

Exactly .... it's funny how a method once used in late 90s and early 2000s is still being used to promote sites, start blogging and posting on very recent news (on your own blogs) .... catch the news effect .... it's easier and much more beneficial.

It's not impossible to do blog commenting at all...unless your comment to Blog is related with the topic. More over if you can give some extra information related to it please do so...it will improve the quality of your postings.

I personally will not recommend "comment on blog" as one of your promotion way, because Google and other SE had reduce its impact to high up your PR. And this way only do a little impact for your website PR.

Like you guys said, you have to leave related contents on the related blogs, and don't you think this will take you much time? Wasting time but getting a bad result, worthwhile? You do your cacuration.

Just pick it up from your promotion, or do not consider it seriously.

For me commenting is just an appreciation or criticism to the blog article. Most time I used anonymous account without any URL. If I found it is natural to post my URL,then only I provide it. We should respect blog owners for there work and don't spam with just hi ,hello comments..

If you are using keywords as author name, many blogs won't like it. Be sure to read comment policy (if any) and see what kind of comment the author has been approving.

I was leaving genuine, useful comments on a blog and they were getting deleted, I tried commenting without giving my homepage URL and they still got deleted. I went back to comment policy and blog owner expected commentators to have a blog or forum to accept comment.

I am leaving genuine comments most of the time and on new blog posts too. Relevant to the content, no spam, no ads. Yet it get deleted or waiting to be approve, and most of it NEVER get approved. @#$@$@# wasted my time. There has to be a easier way to link it all up.

You should only do relevant useful comments.
I think that everyone is fed up with comment spammers that use some dodgy script and leave comments like: "Nice article, I agree!"

Further, leaving crap comments like that can even damage your image (being known as a spammer).

Blog commenting main focus is to interact with other peers (ideally within the same industry). Backlinks come as a bonus.

Remember that the blog owners who have comments enabled do want people to comment, its a natural human thing, to be read, appreciated,to be responded to.
So people are willing to accept ur comments on blogs, but then it has to be absolutely non promotional in nature and should add value to the post. Then you will surely have a url pointing back to you (urls should not be put in the comment body)

Blog commenting does work if you respect the blogger.

I have 2 blogs with commentluv and I spend a lot of time researching and writing my posts, so anything that looks even slightly spammy gets deleted ... and my back up, as I waste a lot of time every day deleteing the spam comments. So if your comments seem spammy all you have done is waste your time and the bloggers time.

As others have said, don't try to use it as a marketing tool. I visit blogs and always read the comments for posts I find interesting. Any comments that are interesting or informative will always see me clicking their name (Paul or Sally, not my website or keyword) to see their blog or site ... it's about adding to the post and making people want to find out more about the commenter, it's not about advertising but getting visitors through thoughtful comments.

If you promote your blog or your website by doing only blog comments nothing else then also it is possible that every commnets of yours got blocked because along with blog comment you have to do other activity to promote your blog or website.
