2 columns or 3 columns template for adsense?

So what templates perform better for adsense? ones with 2 or three columns?

With the 3 columns I can put the adsense skyscrapers on the right hand side column.

I think ads on the side columns don't get that much attention anyway. What gets a lot of clicks are ads above or below the content.

This depends on your colour combination and designs . Many times sidebar ads give more earnings than ads in main content but You must place one code in sidebar , one in between main content and On at the end of content .

3 column templates are best for any blog. Ads placed in the sidebar get a lesser clicks than placed in between the convent. But you should opt for 3 column template, you can place more content in 3 columns than in 2 columns.

From my experience, adsense in side columns don't convert as well as adsence in the content. So I'd go with a two column with my main ads in the content area.

2 columns are definitely good and ads between posts, and ads on start or end of contents work better than sidebars
