    can a website have an average time of zero when viewed in GA or some other analytics software???

    It means the person only visited one page on the site and left (even if they were on the page for an hour).

    It could be you only have one page. MOST, if not all, analytics tool measures the time by getting the difference between the time the last and first page was accessed.

    It can happen at the time when someone had open your site just for a second.
    or just a single page of your site.

    You may only have analytics code on one page if it is saying all visitors have zero time on the site.
