Please review my Robotics NewsWebsite Think "Digg.com for Robotics", and that is my website. I'm getting an decent amount of visitors for being 6 days old (40-60/day native), if you count advertising clicks, that is about another 40/day added onto the previous figure. I think the ads I'm serving are doing alright. I've gotten about $2-8 a day so far. So, it's soon to be profitable, even including advertising and domain registration costs! The only problem I am having is with getting people to register. I only have a few people who have registered so far. Any tips on getting this number up? I made it so users don't have to login/register to vote for articles. I'm not sure if that was the right move if I want more registrations. Thank you for taking the time to review my website. Also, There is no point in spamming your links to my site either - one "killspam" click from me deletes everything related to your account.
This looks absolutely similar to digg. Your site needs logo and header if you want others to know that its not digg. As far as increasing registration number goes, I think you should distribute some free stuff like ebook, reports articles or subscription of newsletter with every registration
I always wanted a site like that All you need is a good header - but, I would keep it about 60px ... don't need much .. logo/name on left - banner/ad on right side Also - the folding sidebars don't all work properly - e.g. Top Today doesn't open, Register opens/close the about box, etc.

I am thinking the "Top Today" close button wasn't working because it was so early in the morning and there were no new articles (looking at the time of your post, the site's time was about 1:00 AM). You are right that close button for the register box actually closes the about box! I'll have to fix that sometime and do some more testing. Thanks, again.
