$25 Logo Contest! Winner gets paid quickly!...

Hello Everyone,

This is my second logo contest in DP. Since the first one was a great success, I would like to post another one for my latest project.

This will not be for a company website, or anything relating to making money

This logo will be used as part of an educational presentation. The logo will be based off the groups name and posted on their website. I am the sponsor of this group.

About the Logo:

I have no color preferences. Simply go with the tone of what will be explained below.

This logo will be for a group that will be creating a podcast on the book, The Picture of Dorian Gray....

About the Book:

Go here and simply read the first two paragraphs if you would like to get a better idea of the book.

The logo should be of relation to the book. You are not required to read the book or know anything about it. Just simply use the books cover page, to assist you in understanding what the logo of such a book should look like.

This is a 48 hour contest. (With the option to add 12 more hours if contestants still haven't finished logo)

Very well done.....

This looks nice, and would like to have it as a definite option.... However can you make it look a bit more like alogo, where the graphics and the name Dorian Decayers blend into each other?

One more change... Keep the "Dorian" in the picture but put it a bit higher so that you can see the top of the persons head. Also, please make sure the entire logo is made bigger than what you have posted. I want to be able to use it as about width 220 by height 318 in good resolution.

Thanks for the designs guys.

I had a friend look at these designs, (a possible contest entree) and it was made clear to me that what is being posted are infact not logo.s

I knew this, but figured these poster looking designs looked nice enough to be accepted for the contest. Its not that I will not pick a winner who makes something like the above designs, but what I'm asking for is a "Logo"...Not a poster.

The designs above do not fit the category of being logos, but will be taken into consideration when choosing the winner. If you guys would like to give it another shot in making an actual logo, please do. And any new contestants, please focus on creating something that looks more like a logo.
