Best results in what? Traffic, page rank, keywords or something else? The only real type of backlink that I focus on is forum signatures. Even though this does not give my sites a lot of traffic, they do allow me to target certain keywords - and with a degree of flexibility. Meaning, that if I need more links on a certain keyword so it improves that keyword in my google webmaster tools, I can change my forum signature. After forum signatures its social bookmarking - and this does bring my sites some traffic. Once again, I like the ability to edit my bookmarks. Commenting on blogs - I sometimes do this. But rarely.
For SERPs: Social bookmarking forum sigs blogg commenting Article submission Craigslist I submitted to some directories but they are not showing up in my backlinks so I don't think they are working. Cheers!
I buy links from co-related websites ranging from PR1 TO PR6. I mainly focus on domain name and content website which is going to link me back.
Hello Michael For best result you need to perform many tasks than doing one task for long time... Its always better to do Social bookmarking Directory Submission Article Submission.. Search engine sublission photo marketing Video submission Posting comments in Blogs Posting comments in forums and many more...
Forum comments for Nofollow backlinks, and article submissions for traffic. Cody39E: How is the bang for your buck on paying for links?
For SEO: linkbait. An article I did about how certain companies offer reviewers hookers in exchange for positive product reviews got around 10,000 links For visitors: Recip/swap links. IE: A blog post about theirs on one of mine and the same in return every now and then. Affiliating with sites, blogrolls (on very small, nichey places), etc. And for other things: This game graphics blog I help run gets hundreds of clicks a day from my signatures in other forums alone. Oddly I don't even post on them anymore.
I continue to hedge my bet with: 1. Constant new content (non link exercize) 2. Article submission 3. Forum commenting 4. Blog entries (my own blogs) 5. Blog commenting (other's blogs) 6. Press Releases 7. Reciprical links with only those sites in my business 8. Directory Submission (I know some compeititors who only do this in competitive serps and are in top 3)
Hey michael. i have to admit that at first, I tried blog commenting, which can become tedious and time consuming after a while. it use to work, but not so much now since a lot of bloggers either have a low pagerank or traffic count, or they are a true stickler about having keywords in the name (anchor text). I am more inclined to believe that the best method for link building is social bookmarking/free classified ads. These are the two best methods, and there are no other ones out there! I tend to stick with free classified ads that allow anchor text, which aren't that matter out there.
