How to find out if Adsense is banned from a site?

Discussion in 'AdSense' started by Ibn Juferi, Mar 4, 2009.

I am in the midst of a deal with a blog-tal owner regarding my interest in purchasing his site. I was interested in buying his site because I feel that it could be better commercialised and that Adsense will feature primarily in my plans. However today I found out that his Adsense did not load on the site even though the codes are present. From the looks of it, it seems that Adsense have banned the domain and that ad serving was disabled. How do I find out whether this is a case and would it be a good idea to buy the site even if this is true and appeal to Adsense to restore ad-serving on the site later?

You can ask google. If you bought the domain recently, show the proof to them that you are a different owner and I believe they do restore ad-serving if proven to be true.

Unfortunately, If you do not own the domain, Google won't tell you anything...if you do buy it, and it's banned, you may be out of luck.

Is that true that google might restore ads serving on banned domain?

How about group of friends flipping banned domain ownership to each other? Is google that stupid!

Now Jackass has something in here..

Then no sites would be banned at all.. There's a loophole ;)

When they get a look at IP addresses, dns settings, visitor behaviour, the content and who knows what else other tricks they have up their sleeve, I dare say that they'll figure it out quick enough and add another banned scalp to their tally.
