    Hi,

I have seen the words "AutoPilot Blogs" at many places. I don't know any thing about these. Can anyone tell me what are these and how do they work?
Any help will be greatly appreciated.

    Thanks

That's blog which get articles without you about some subject, and with time you will get some traffic from search engines. I had package what receive articles from RSS and then post it.

It sounds good in theory but doesn't work as well as expected. A good portion of blogs are successful because of their unique and interesting content. The vast majority of blogs who use this method will never see a lot of traffic. Work = Results, No work = No results is my belief.

I agree with Gator. Basically these sites are taking others content and reposting it on their blog. many times, the postings do not come out correctly and it looks like pure shit. These sites are mostly done as a source of revenue in the sense of either selling links or selling the blog.

I see these all the time selling for $20-$50 but in my honest opinion, you have nothing but garbage. It is better to fill your blog with good content and building over time and you could see a nice income coming from the blogs.

I have a couple blogs which I operate and have seen my content from RSS feeds posted on such "auto blogs." If your blog is keyword rich... it will get pulled sooner or later.

I can tell you that these other sites which my content appears on never rank high enough in SERP's to take away from my traffic. Remember... unique content is what search engines LOVE.

Auto Blogged can be referred to as RSS aggregator. It allows you to pull the entire contents from the RSS feed into your blog to create each standalone post.

Many times, auto blogged can also be considered as content theft which means using someone else contents into your blog without the permission of the author. Hence when you auto blog, you must take permission from the author and also place a back link to the original content.

There is one more problem with auto blogging. When rss aggreator creates post into your blog, it will often create duplicate posts. So avoid this, you need to enable the duplicate check and the biggest problem is that if your blog has 1000's of posts, it will take lot of time to create new posts and pull lot of sever resources. In most cases, your host will fire you. In that case, its advisable to set the cron timing to 12hrs or 24hrs.

You can find free rss aggreators or if you wish, you can also try the paid version at autoblogged.com

Adsense has nothing to do with auto blog. Just make sure that there is no copyright violation. In other words, you take prior permission from the author before you do that.

Yes but if they found out your site having duplicated content then they will deindexed your site instantly.
More bad if you have high PR and it will become PR 0

The method most people know to autoblogging is republishing content from RSS feeds. The only problem is that most of these people use the same RSS sources everyone else is using. They grab RSS feeds from news sites, PR sites and blog listings like Google's Blogsearch or Technorati.

Needless to say, it doesn't work very well. RSS is now a fully developed technology, and you'll be surprised to find that forums, directories, regular websites and even online groups have their own RSS feeds. All you really need to do is figure out a concept for using these feeds, and then create your autoblog.

Besides using RSS feeds, articles are also a good way of adding content to your blogs. However, unless you're doing this automatically, the amount of time spent copying articles and pasting them into your blog may not be worth your time.

Another autoblogging tactic is using data feeds from affiliate networks, and posting them into blog posts with your affiliate ID included. Unlike using RSS feeds from blogs, people don't get annoyed when you do this.

You would be much better off coming up with quality, unique stuff, rather than stuffing your site with this nonsense. That's obviously just my opinion, but I think it's valid in this instance.

AutoBlogs once use RSS feeds for its content! But now its entirely different!
These blogs rely on Article Directories for articles. Your blog will get articles once they're posted at article directories. Mostly the article directories and your blog are getting articles at the same time! I have some auto blogs which are getting descent traffic from Google. I use CPA offers and adsense with these blogs. Most of the time the visitors click on adsense to leave the page! Its very profitable if you have a pack of blogs!
