This guy is just a rip off...i feel cheated as well.
He doesnt reply at all even though he can be seen active.

as you can see in initial posts and gave a good review, but i hardly used it and the site went down. i waited months, then i asked for refund. first he kept me waiting saying that he will put the site up but site never got up and nor the money came.
Lost $50
And i took this initiative because he has not been responding to me inspite of warnings. and i can see something similar happened here too.

In regard with my previous post about the rip off.... i PMed him again regarding my money...as i saw him active again.
as it is hard earned and i did not rip off anybody like he did...($50 is not a small amount for me atleast, it makes about 2500 INR)
I may not get my money back but i can help others save theirs....

Also, if you want, I can try contacting him or whatever, if you give me any details about him, as I am based in the UK, and it's good to see scammers taken down.

 

ok at last hes pmed me on Feb 23 rd saying he wants to give only 70 $ rather than 100 $ as per the agreement. Am herewith enclosing the screen shot of his pm. I gave him my paypal details on the same day and still he didn't send me the money.Its already 10 days passed since he messaged me yet i didn't get my money.

 

A really important rule of business (especially in a no-contract situation like this) is that you cannot trust anybody. Even people who seem to be genuine and nice people may sometimes turnaround and rip you off. There is never a guarantee, so in the future simply hold on to your files until you are paid in full. That is the standard procedure on here, 99designs and however many other contest sites. It is also the correct procedure when doing client work for people who you have never met face or face and have nothing in writing saying what you will be paid and when.

In this day and age when every dollar is important to most people, you really need to protect yourself. Hope you are now!

 

At least you got a reply from him! I won a contest of his a good few months ago now and he demanded I code it into HTML even though the specs were just for a PSD. I offered to code it for a little extra but he didn't want to know. I sent him a few PMs after that but no response.

I didn't send him the file though. You must always wait for payment before sending anything, otherwise you will get ripped off.

 

Thanks for your support daveyBoy. yes every dollar is important and why should we loose when we worked hard and pored lots of time in making and coding those sites?

Pay the man what you owe. He did the job, you took the site so cough up. If you are based in the UK then shame on you. $100 is a considerable amount to the developer not to you.
