Hey guys I started a gaming blog a few weeks back. Till now I haven't done much work on it, but I have big plans for it. The site is http://videogamereign.com - I am asking you to review the layout/design. It is a custom design and was coded by another DP user. I know there is not much written content yet - I'm working on it! I have not added advertisements yet, and the ads you do see are just space holders. Also looking for tips on how to monetize this site... Adsense? CPA offers? Thanks!
Design looks fine to me. I did notice the ad on the right side for HypedGaming goes right back to your site...not sure if this is suppose to be like this.
As I said, the ads are just placeholders at this point until I figure out a proper way to monetize the site and really start promoting it. All the ads point back to the site right now. Thanks for the review, still looking for further input.
The blog doesn't look bad, although you could make your posts look a bit more professional. Try images, etc..

Hey Not a bad effort but a gaming site should look strong incontrast colors and graphics. You need to work on these aspects so that traffic pours in freely. It has a monotonous look for the time-being
Website blocks are not located properly at a website! Work more on colors and try different color combinations! I like your header design very much! White-black color combinations don't suit website very good! Webpage is too long! It is a disadvantage! Make website colors more pleasant for website users! The lack of professionally designed logo is obvious!
What do you mean the blocks are not located properly...? Oh I forgot to mention, does anyone running IE have problems viewing the whole design? Someone told me earlier that the site doesn't show up well with IE and lower resolutions. Also, could people who are experienced with buying/selling websites give me an estimate of how much this site would be worth if I added some content? The design and WP theme are 100% unique, as is all written content on the site.
I liked the colors and the info on call of duty. With so much going on--on your site have you considers contextual marketing ( I believe that is the term) where you list your site on major traffic sites. Granted there is a cost but if the increased traffic brings buyers of your product--More money for you.
Right now I don't actually have a product... I am still wondering how to properly monetize this site.
hmmm. seems Featured content plugin is broken in IE 6 - post title and post text - transparent panel not at the end of gallery....
Great Header on the site. I would like to see the comments box already displayed rather than a pop out, I know its all "Ajax Web 2.0" based but many users won't look for something unless you force feed it to them. The Folder coloring also irks me but I get the concept and it works. Good job overall.
