The search doesn't stand out, it like blends in and when I was looking through your site I didn't even notice it. Also the birds that you have in your banner look really low quality, doesn't look professional. Overall it's nice.

Good site except for the very unfortunate use of fixed layout. The color scheme is coherent and palatable. I don't like sites that have a center column that goes way beyond the side bars lengths. Perhaps a standardisation of the size of the images and make them clickable as well as shorter teasers may overcome that problem if you also see it as a problem. Overall a decent effort. Enjoy

To follow on from what Benj said, i think its ok to show other people articles, but you should share the love with at least a link back to their site. Especially since I found one of the articles interesting, but could not read the full post.

Nice and good color schemes looks more attractive. Just add a logo in the home page and also draw the border for the site.
