How to convert wordpress blog theme into magazine or news theme? I know i need to add bit code in index and css files but what code it is.
Trying to make one blog function like another is a very tedious task that is more trouble than just changing the template, which will take you all of 2 minutes. Are there certain functions that you are looking for? I assume you have seen an example of what you want to do, if you elaborate a little more, i may be able to help, I have a few magazine style blogs going.
Your best bet is to get a template (purchased can be better than free, but it depends on your budget I guess). templatemonster.com is good. Otherwise search google for free wordpress magazine templates. There's plenty out there.
buy a theme to simplify the process as you will spend more time adjusting the css than you will spend on the installation
there are so many free wordpress magazine themes available you can use them or hire someone to make changes as necessary (if you are not good on coding)
All you really need to take with you is your colors which can be changed easily in the CSS file, and your header.
