    Hey all

Due to the category of my blog (mainly freebies and good offers on sites like Amazon and Play), do you think that my blog could be quite profitable in the long run if I stick with it? What could I do to make the most out of it?

    My blog is: http://www.realfreebies.co.uk/freebies

I think it may be tougher since that niche seems to be very saturated but in all reality if you are willing to put in the hard work in both actual work on the website and work on studying the best methods or web promotion and SEO then you can make it work. It may be very tough though with that niche, if I were you I would try another smaller niche and dominate it instead of trying to be a drop in the bucket in that niche.

I hate to break it to you... But there are millions of "Freebie" blogs, forums and sites in general. You might want to try a different niche.

It is always hard breaking into success on the net -- going into a saturated niche is even harder.

Finding a niche is probably one of the top things in starting a blog that many overlook. So many people who start off try to go for the biggest niche out there because they think they can make the most money from it but actually if you go for a smaller niche and dominate it you will make a lot more.

I really do like your template choice, sleek and clean. But you should do some keyword research and try to find a niche that isn't as saturated. You could even target long tail keywords and target a specific sub niche (like free video games for PC). These are just off the top of my head though, not sure if it would be worth the time to redo the site.

Your blog seems to be doing very well.. I would highly consider monetizing your blog, but, I would suggest changing the theme to something more conducive to advertisements.

There's too many "Freebie" sites all over the web and alot of them turn out to be scams (I'm not saying your site), which is one reason people stop going to them in general.

While I agree that having a niche that has many competitors, you can also join hands with them to promote your site. You can make a post about them, and vice versa.

And I agree with saleelm03, you need solid work and a lot of effort to deal with them. The thing is you must have sufficient knowledge and resources so you can dominate your niche.

If you can dream it, you can make it. The only thing that I see a challenge is that you have the niche "FREE" which has been dis-credited by many many online users no matter how true you are.

Yeah there is just too much competition in weight loss and freebies .There are big companies who are spending thousands of dollars on seo to get on top .

I like the website it is clean and neat all you have to do is put ads and affiliate banners there and advertise it more to get more traffic after that just lay back and watch the numbers go up. Easy said then done but oh well.
    Any questions PM me.

    What other niches though?

I do rank quite well for some of my posts, for example the new ebay codes that have come out...

But what other niches could I tackle? I feel there is loads out there to do with shopping etc too?

My belief is that any websiet that has a significant amount of targetted traffic can be profitable. You could sell direct advertisment for businesses like dealsea.com, you could use Adsense, etc. You can make money, your visitors just have to be targetted in some fashion.
