How to get my new product listed quicklyin Google

Discussion in 'Google' started by IndianGuy, Apr 28, 2008.

I have new products released almost monthly. I cannot rely on along term SEO approach as by then the products I have will be out of date. So link building using the relevant anchor texts will just not work as there are thousands of products.

What SEO Strategy should I be using to ensure when ever new products come out, they stand a good chance of being indexed and well ranked quickly within Google?

You can do press release distribution and target a different product in every press release,
or you can also use article distribution.

Doing a new press release for each product will not be practical as i have at least 15-20 new products cming out each month! Each product gets a new URL too.

Can you advise me on the suggestion which some one else has given me which is as follows:
    "1.) PPC
2.) Listings on applicable shopping comparison sites including froogle

Stay away from SEO on products that are short lived as 9 times out of every 10 products it will be too late ... & the client will simply start placing blame onto you. However, SEO should be performed on products which are stable availability throughout the year, which can be specific keyphrases.

They should also look into social media optimisation (a new thing coming out in our online marketing world), but this is rather more expensive."

Not sure, but I suggest you

Get lots of back links for your main domain. Try to increase your PR. This way, google will crawl faster and will index more pages.

yes i agree fully ....make your website globalised by :

    1) Making press releases and articles,
    2) Submitting in free directories,
    3) Linking to high PR and related websites,

All the above if applied correctly, wud definately help in promoting your product and get among the first pages.

Two years on I come across a similar scenario again. I have new products launchng every 2 mnths. Whats the best way of getting these listed quickly as and when they come out rather than waiting for months and months,by then the product will be out dated.

Can I create a specific page which gets indexed and recognised regularly by google where I can add my new products into? What strategy would I use to get this page roboted quicky and as often as possible every time?

I would say try adding them through a sitemap, or manually at the google ad link url.

I second the sitemap, make sure it's flawless and constantly updated + add it to Google Webmasters Tool.

You can do on-page SEO so whenever the crawler comes around, the sites always ready to get indexed.

Depending on what products do you have. If you have products for online market and you have a good price social bookmarking I think is the solution

getting links pointed to them from your site and from external sites is the best way to rank higher for those KW's.

    good luck..

    try to submit your product on auction sites;
write some good press release for every product and submit those on PR sites as well as post your product on craiglist also
