Blogs can be good as landing pages, I prefer using a conduit based website or review page.

Yes, a blog can be a great landing page, but in that case you should get a relevant template (theme), so it looks more like a website, not a blog.

Yes, EzineArticles allows you to do that, but as you probably know, only 2 links max in your resource box.

No one is really going to guide you step-by-step here. You should learn everything by reading and trying.

The best conversion rate is 1:1, LOL. If I get real, then getting 1:100 you should be happy. Anything less is great!

If you can provide quality content on your blog then go ahead! Drive thousands of visitors a day and you'll soon be a millionaire. Otherwise try outsourcing some great articles.. :)

If your capture page is on the root domain i.e. www.yourdomain.com then thats fine. Lately they seem to object to www.yourdomain.com/product

I even tried a subdomain like product.yourdomain.com , which they rejected as well.

That is why a lot of people are linking to squidoo pages, then on the squidoo page, link to your capture page.

Ezine --> Squidoo --> Your Website

    Hi to answer your questions,

    1. Yes, a blog will work well as a landing page. Be sure to include a few informational articles and hyperlink the content with your affiliate links. Because the reader might be interested to read other content on your site, you have a greater chance to convert him or her.

    2. EzineArticles do allow you to link to your presale page. They also allow you to link directly to the sales page provided you use a redirected top level domain. For example, if you are promoting www.ABC.com, you can always buy a domain www.EFG.com to mask and forward the link to salespage (ie using your affiliate link of course).

    3. You can always ask questions here and many will be willing to teach you.

    4. Typically, a good conversion is 1% or better. There are products that convert at 5 to 7% but don't treat that as a norm. Naturally, there are also a lot which converts very poorly at 0.1%
