I don't think it will have any duplicate issue, there are many corporate sites offering different language pages for different countries, Google is best example.

No it is not considered duplicate content.
The best setup would be either sub domains, or sub directories. (I prefer sub directories, but that's just me)

    1: sub domains

    example.com/ English homepage
    example.com/page1.html
    example.com/page2.html

    fr.example.com/ French homepage
    fr.example.com/page1.html
    fr.example.com/page2.html

    ge.example.com/ German homepage
    ge.example.com/page1.html
    ge.example.com/page2.html

    jp.example.com/ Japanese homepage
    jp.example.com/page1.html
    jp.example.com/page2.html
    ... etc

    2: sub directories

    example.com/ English homepage
    example.com/page1.html
    example.com/page2.html

    example.com/fr/ French homepage
    example.com/fr/page1.html
    example.com/fr/page2.html

    example.com/ge/ German homepage
    example.com/ge/page1.html
    example.com/ge/page2.html

    example.com/jp/ Japanese homepage
    example.com/jp/page1.html
    example.com/jp/page2.html
    ... etc

The site I made using sub directories has a link to each category/page (page1.html .. etc) on all pages of the language you are viewing, and also a link to every other languages homepage only.

I used Google translator for the translation, and also translated the title, meta description, keywords, alt tags and title tags of each page. (manually) Very time consuming, but it can pay off.

I found it interesting to see where the traffic streams came from, and how some languages reacted better to the site than others.
I also find it ironic that after translating my site from the original English to 7 other languages, English only accounts for around 25% of my visitors. So my effort has been rewarded with a big increase in visitors, and I now have a sub 40k Alexa rank. :D

There is a plugin for wordpress (and maybe blogger too I think) that does this translation automatically, but I am unsure how well it works. (if it does titles and descriptions etc..)

    hope that helps

    Cheers
    James

It i different content if write in different languages, the reason is no any software able to check it and say it is duplicate. As long as you use your own word to write it in your languages or opposite.

The point you have mentioned might not necessarily be interpreted as duplicate content, especially if you are going to use all of the content pages on one single site originated from a server space. As you know, since Google has a translator, so it can notice about the content pages differences and similarities and when you have both the original and copied contents originated from a single domain, so there is nothing to worry about.
