Recommend me some Advertisement tips

I am having a directory with 62k alexa !!
I could hardly generate $25 per month !!

Suggest me Advertisement program / affiliate any thing !!

if you want to get paid submission,
most of directory owner would pay nothing for advertising.
anyway you can try forum advertising like DP here,
advertising on the directory list,
it works for my directories.

 

Try releasing coupons, give discounts and submit your directory in other directories.

 

Well your Alexa only 62k because it is free. You are probably getting hit by a bunch of auto submitter bots every day. More than likely 9 out of 10 visitors to your site are from ......

Well how do you expect to make much with a free directory? It is free after all.

Make it paid - build links to it and market it like crazy - quit selling sitewide partner links - remove the sitewide banner ad because you apparently are not making anything with it anyway.

Quit accepting spam (keyword or otherwise) like this below so someone might actually pay for the review to be listed there (of course you need to start reviewing the submits).

If you have the money, advertise your directory on high traffic webmaster and SEO forums. Place your banner ads on many sites.

 

To attract marketers and advertisers who are interested in buying directory listings, you need to run a well-maintained directory. No one wants to be listed in a directory that includes things like:

(1) You have a dildo-site title "Butt Plug" in the Entertainment » X of the Day, Week category.
(2) You have another dildo shop in Arts & Humanities » Shopping and Services.
(3) You have something titled "Актуальный журнал с увлекательной литературой Агаты Кристи" in Society. Do you speak whatever language this is? Did you review this site or have any idea what it's about?

And that really is just what I saw in a couple seconds of looking around. There are massive amounts of spelling and grammatical errors in titles/descriptions and ALOT of badly misplaced listings. Lots of titles/descriptions that are nothing more than keyword stuffing (probably done by auto-submitters), and I noticed that a couple descriptions in your directory look they are about 2000 words in length. It appears that you have very low quality standards and are possibly just mass-approving links rather than editing them.

Also, you are running the free (and quite old) version of phpLD. Buy the latest version and it will control alot of the auto-submit spam you are getting, as well as providing many other nice features.

Bottom line is that to make a little money you really need to build a quality site.
