Dude what are you trying to do with your pc that you are so much worried about it?

Lock your pc with chains and lock coz someone can break open your homes/office and steal it too. Nothing is Safe in this world and can be guaranteed.

Further, you must download your entire site backup and not just mysql. Contant your web hosting and ask them to help you with the backup if you cannot do it yourself. :)

    Hi
After listening all the Geeks . Could I suggest a thing . Why not try with spybot . It kills all the Virus and protect your PC properly . I can guide how to use . But it is very easy . Just once in a week run it and it will protect in everyway . It is FREE .I am using for last one year and now I feel very secured .

If you have no web server running on your machine - how can someone hack it through YOUR machine ?
Let's do in this way - please explain what you want to secure and what was hacked ( as most of website hacks are done with SQL injection, not hacking into someones PC ).

Here are the steps I have taken:

    Installed AVG paid edition
    Spybot search and Destroy
    Ad-Aware

I leave only AVG running constantly in the background then do periodical scans with Spybot and Ad-Aware to pick up anthing that's been missed.

I always make sure I have the latest updates for everything including Microsoft Windows.

I prefer to use firefox rather than IE

I also subscribe to a brilliant FREE newsletter called Uncle Re-Boot - he mails out once a week on the latest viruses and tells you the steps you need to protect yourself.

Also, once you think you have made your PC safe enough, I recommend going to 'Sheilds Up' - here you can test the security of your PC for free.

I've never had any problems with security since taking these measures.

    ;)

I want to secure my pc first. Elite hacker hacked my website, my two e-mail ids.
if he hack site then ok but how can he hack yahoo id without using my password. So i think may be here is some fault in my pc.
and i just buy a new domain and i put there my old backup now this domain automatically redirect to hacked site.

I see .. Small information - none of anti-virus app's can keep your pc away from troubles ! All you need is a crypter & packer and none of app's will detect a virus as a virus :)
From my own experience, BitDefender is one of the most powerful tools to protect your pc from illegal connections ! Once someone will try to connect, you will get a warning about from where the signal comes and what processes are using it .. Costly stuff, but yeah - nothing is for free ( except *nix systems ).

AVG Anti-Virus + Comodo Internet Security (Comodo Anti-Virus off) + Spybot and Windows Defender = Safe as houses.

Or better still use Linux ;)
