Paypal querry

Hey i have a business account with paypal but i use a debit card i have a few questions as such :

[1] Do i need to have a registered company to own a business account?

[2] I have used a debit card how do i link and confirm this as i am not entitled to a credit card(i am 18 and i dont have a regular income).

 

1) If you want open a business account,You need to have a registered business company with bank account in your business name...Business just for company.
2) It depends on ur country.....Where are you from?

 

I know in US you do not need to have a registered business or you are not required to show business license to open a business account.

To link your debit card, you just go to profile then add credit/debit card link.

 

I believe in the US, you can sign up for what is known as a 'Doing Business As' registration. You can get that at your local chamber of commerce. http://www.business.gov/register/business-name/dba.html

As long as you are not from India and that your debit card can be used internationally and comes with a Mastercard or Visa logo, you should be able to use it to verify your account.

If you are from the US, UK, Australia or Germany, you can verify your paypal account with a bank account.

Oh, that's tough luck.
You only can use CC or VCC to verify ur paypal

 

I would advise you not to use VCC for verification..instead get yourself a credit card...and if you are minor and cannot get one...open the account in your parent's name or any senior member and try to do business in their name till you are able to obtain a CC for yourself.
