SEO the best free traffic method?

Good Morning everybody!

My first post here! Hope ya'll doing alright!

I have an ecommerce and I have a tough time to bring traffic to it. I'd like to have your experts opinion on ...Is SEO the best free traffic generation method? I simply have no money to buy traffic and I've done all the basics to my website about SEO but I still don't see my pages coming up in the SE. So far, it looks to me that SEO is more of a long term traffic generation method... But I'm probably wrong about this...I'm fairly new to marketing online...

Any comments or tips would be more than welcome.

Do what you can to optimize your site on your own and when you get to the point where it is too much hire out some of your work.

When you read up on SEO you'll know what questions to ask and be more selective who you delegate your work too.

Yes SEO is definitely the best free marketing strategy. It is not the easiest thing for beginners to pick up though. There are many strategies to use and specific rules to follow. You should read up on various link building strategies and try some of those for yourself. It is best to read as much as you can about seo first.

 

Initially better you could hire someone for SEO.

 

adding a blog to your site will help. also, getting inbound links from squidoo, digg and ezinearticles alone helps a lot.

I think I'll start with setting up a blog and work on SEO a bit every day.

Some suggest that the blog should be a sub domain of my website, others say it should be on an independent domain with back links to my website? What do you guys think about this? I wonder which one is the best to increase organic search results...

I mean, someone that can place my adult site in first position into search engines,
no experts that take only big money......

 

You could try making lenses about the products in your e-commerce site.
Another idea is to write articles about them and include the links to your site.
