What do u SEO's think? is it a good idea to build little satellite blogs with domain around keyword, or just put content under one site?

    erm that's not a question.

I was asking if I would gain more with registering domain around keyword, and pointing it to main website...

I am going have to say its better to keep each domain seperated for seo reasons. If you use subdomains (i.e. subfolders) your still using the same ip. Which to google looks like the same site.

Yes, registering new domains and pointing to the current one will look like backlink. Should work good.

Registering new domain and pointing it to another website of yours is "interlinking" = Google penalty/ban.

    Hope that helps.

Christ... I can't believe the replies here. PUT IT ALL UNDER THE SAME DOMAIN. This idea of spinning off sub-pages into domains went out of fashion YEARS ago. The major search engines have long since figured out such low-level tactics.

The more good stuff your domain has, the better it will rank, especially for long-tail searches. Do not dilute your assets into useless little sitelets which will never rank for anything.

And please check the DATE of the articles you're reading.

Lastly, it makes not an iota of difference what IP address your domain is using. That's just nonsense spread by rank amateurs. I'm not even going to bother rebutting that one.

Its always better to register a new domain and work on it. This technique will be more useful and beneficial.

Yes. That is a better way you could do it. Keyword on your domain name is always a best option
