Adwords on YouTube, FaceBook, Linked In. How?

    Hi,

I have just set up a new Adword Campaign, content network, targeting just:

    FaceBook
    LinkedIn
    YouTube

    These all run Google Ads.

I have selected CPC rather than CPM, and have put in bids of about $3 to start the ball rolling. That should be plenty as my key words are fairly niche and cost me a lot less than that on search.

After 24 hours, not a sinle impression.

Any ideas on what I might have missed?

Did you select placement targeting? Sometimes it takes awhile to get them to run.

Ads on placement get reviewed before going live, and nothing gets reviewed over a weekend.

yeah, content network ads take some time to get reviewed. Sometimes upto 4-5 business days.
    Patience is the key.

$3 a bid is quite high, you should see your ads up soon. Any news yet?

I may copy your idea just targeting FaceBook, LinkedIn, ;)YouTube

Nothing yet. I started with a high bid just to get it moving and get near the top. Then I'll wind it back.

    If they ever appear?

Check your Adwords campaign snapshot to see if you have any impressions or clicks yet. Sometimes, when I set up a campaign, I didn't see my ads when I searched for the keywords I set. But when I viewed the Adwords results, I saw lots of impressions and some clicks.

So not entirely sure how it works.
