Nice but unoriginal and boring. To beat DP your friend needs to do better than DP, not ape DP. The site seems to have an active community, though, that can be leveraged.

 

Good forums, color combinations are selected correctly! Website has a pleasant and professional design! The only thing I would recommend you to do is to decrease webpage length! The length of left-side block should be shortened a bit! In general everything looks fine and professionally!

 

I can assure you that we're in no way trying to emulate DP.
WTF and STF are friendly little communities like DP was a few years ago.
A few good members who are out to help (rather than better or con) each other are worth more than numbers.

 

I like the domain. The purple is just ok with me, maybe a little more blue would make it more balanced?

 

Colors seems way out of balance. Maybe fix that up and start getting some users? Other then that its a pretty unoriginal idea.

 

I see.... Well, the way to avoid becoming like DP eventually would be to make sure you don't get steep growth and the problems arising out of population explosions, it seems you're doing an OK job of that. One thing you might want to do is release geo-specific versions, install geolocation so that users get the whole set of forums but the participants are limited to their geographical location. DP grew so fast in part because the whole world plunged into this little space.

Hi, nice colour scheme, although I would add some black or other dark colour in it, it is too bright in my opinion.
Furthermore ist has a good website structure I think.

What do you mean by unoriginal? Are you talking about the colours?

 

Pleasant colors and the template looks great. The logo and the title of the site looks too small, than the content of the forum.

 

The color should be little sober rest is perfect.......

It was designed by a female... maybe that's what you're sensing.
