$100 Simple Wordpress PSD Contest

Hi I need someone to create a unique design for my website www.drizzydrake.com
There really only needs to be 1 layout for 2 different pages, mostly a wordpress blog but also a matching frontpage where the content shows off the various sections of the site.

- you can find some pictures of him here http://images.google.com/images?gbv=2&hl=en&q=drake+rapper&btnG=Search+Images

- the header may contain whatever you think will look good, but I would like for there to at least be a text portion with DrizzyDrake.com that will be recognizable and brandable for use in the future for watermarks, etc

- the home page should contain (besides the universal template for both portions) areas for displaying the latest song, mixtape, news article, as well as navigation destinations like biography, discography [www.plies.us has a great header, and I like the frontpage content of www.eminemworld.com with all the links/pics for latest videos, song, etc ]


Contest ends Monday, February 23rd however I reserve the right to end it sooner or later than that. Payment will be made with paypal after I have found a winner. There is a possibility of the winner redesigning my other website, as well as possible monthly jobs if they're interested. If there's anything you don't understand feel free to ask

 

nobody is willing to do a PSD of a wordpress site for $100 ?

I am not a big fan of the color scheme. Mustard yellow just doesn't sit well with my eyes, I'm sorry. I prefer dark text on a light background, I don't like white text on a dark background. (note to everyone) For the header... I'm alright with you blending multiple images of Drake together, however in yours it is obvious that they are separate images. Perhaps if you used textures or some other method of making them flow better. I like your navigation link placement, excellent. I think I need to clarify myself, I'm not interested in a 3 column layout, simply for the homepage instead of blog posts, I want a version of what you have in the far right column except more areas, expanded etc. Good job so far

o.k - here is our design shot - as promissed.

I am aware that I haven't included all the wordpress elements (tags, archives, recent posts, etc.) but that can be easily done while coding the template and what you need is only the styling of the column titles and links. By the way - we can code it.

Willhaynes, I like yours, could you add in some navigation links to the top part of the content though? I like how the logo is looking, however do you think you could add .com to it, maybe make Drake smaller? I want this to be able to be a small watermark on videos, pictures etc.
Radutrifan, I really like how its looking. Could you also try adding .com to the logo?

I was going to add some more stuff to it anyways, I just wanted to make sure you liked the direction I was going to go!

I'll make those changes when I can get some time. Any timeframe on this contest so I know when my final entry as to be in by?

To be honest, not really a timeframe. Initially, I started this contest a few days before Drake had a new mixtape come out and I wanted to have the site up by then but then I realized that wasn't happening... As you can see my visits here have been somewhat sporadic, I'm very busy with a different site of mine so there's not really a huge rush

 

Here is the .com added to the logo part, though we think that it better looks without it.



But about the deadline... please set one, as this is a contest and a part of it is the deadline that is quite important to us, freelancers.

So - waiting for a new deadline to be set.

A reason I am asking this - because I've received requests to sell this design to other persons in case it is not a winner in this contest and I've waited the deadline and results.
