My SERP of my Blog for the Keywords like "Engineering Seminar Topics " due to the Unknown reasons. Before that its in the 1st page of the Google. And I was getting a decent traffic from that. I lost it before one week.

The URL of my Blog is techalone.blogspot.com

    How to get it back?

On the same boat. One of my sites which was a directory of shopping centers crapped out in Google searches all of a sudden. I knew algorithm changes are a constant however has there been any drastic changes recently affecting more people? I do not employ any black hat techniques yet a drastic change.

Backlinks are important but it's not about quantity. There are other factors you need to access like the industry average of inbound links. Some industries are more heavily seo'd than others.

With blogs you generally have to keep adding content and add to the community to keep the traffic gowing. Consider adding a twitter page and burn your feed to it.

Have you book marked the blog?

it depends. one of my site used to lost SERPs for about a month, it appears nowhere in it's main keywords that used to be in top10 during that time. After a month, it came back to where it used to be. maybe you can just wait.

How old is the blog? If its any less then 6 months old, dont worry about it. It normal for sites to "float" for the first 5, 6 or 7 months. If your site is 8 months or older, then I would worry.

The suggestions about building backlinks with targeted keywords is right on the money. Backlinks, with the right keywords are very important.

But it can away again if it came back after the sandbox.

You need to do some major analysis.
    Increasing backlinks is also subjective.

I got penalised, I guess because I sponsored some themes back in the days, so I was getting inlinks with same anchor text from several sites from the same footer with various similarities like the CSS :(

So i had to majorly increase links just to get down the percentage contribution of the footer links. I could have done fine with a few more link if I had not sponsored those themes :(

But the tbpr is GREAT since some pr 6 types are using my theme :) :)

The old days of a "link is a link" are over. Don't base quality on the pr toolbar. Many types of links are heavily discounted and some pages do not flow pr.

The first step in link building is to look at the competition. For instance if your target keyword is "ski pico grande bolivia" and the competition averages 250links then you shouldn't try to get 5000.

The subjective aspect is the authority and trust of your site. Trust is like a 'get out of jail free' card.
