Not the best product to promote from my personal experience, and I have sites that SHOULD, theoretically, do well with this product. Plus the commission is crap. What, .50-cents per lead?

I've had them running for a couple of months. Got a few dozen leads at $0.60 each. But leads have dropped off after just a couple months. Not enough inventory that fits my niche. Will probably pull them.

$0.60 per commission to this spread adware around the world?

I think that you can find a better choice.

You really think it is adware? If that's the case it's gone, outta here.

Visitors to my site aren't shopping, so they never buy anything. It's an entertainment niche. Does CJ have anything that might convert? Free downloads, entertaining widgets, etc. that pay per lead? I've spent a lot of time looking around CJ and screensavers.com was the only thing my visitors showed an interest in.

Wow, long and nasty thread. And several posters claim screensavers.com is more than just adware, but a bundle of all kinds of nasty malware.

Several posters also raised the question, if CJ allows this merchant (screensavers.com) how can affiliates trust them (CJ)?

Really, I read screensavers.com little blurb for affiliates and that plus the fact they are with CJ lead me to assume they are ok. But someone posted the screensavers.com EULA for users who download their free screensavers and it has some very bad stuff in it.

Makes me wonder about any and all the merchants I signed up with at CJ. I guess I have to do in depth research on everyone of them. Not happy

Yes I agree with you: nasty thread and the only thread that worth there is the EULA one.

Regarding CJ recently banned 180 Solutions, and hope they do the same with Screensavers.com.

I *think* that this process is not easy as CJ can not just call screensavers and tell them: "i don't like you and your methods you're now banned". But CJ need to find fundamental proofs that they are violating Terms of Service.
