I use hostgator and blue host. both seem to be fine although I did read a post from someone that was concerned that hostgator is letting "clouds" through which I have no clue the relevance of.
HAWKHOST.COM Never disappointed me : Only 3.99$ with unlimited hosted domains - 3000 MB Space - 30000 MB Monthly Bandwidth - Fast Support Message Replies , cPanel. Lots of Other Packages.
I have found that HostDogs is really great. I never thought a low cost web host company would be good but I have received great service.
If you're comfortable with running a VPS (virtual private server) based on any one of several Linux distributions (Debian, CentOS, Mandriva, Fedora, etc), I *highly* recommend Linode.com. I've used them for several years, with almost zero downtime and the most outstanding customer service I've ever seen in the hosting industry (I've been using various hosting companies for ten years, btw). In fact, I'm so happy with their service that I've been known to set up Debian VPS nodes on their network with ISPConfig for free when people have asked for help. If you are willing to maintain your own VPS, PM me and I'll set you up once you have an account established. I have no financial interest in the company, just a very, very happy customer .
been using servage for 1 yr after that I shifted to hostgator which is really far better than servage ...
Hostgator are excellent, with the fantastico feature installed on all accounts at present, blog production is very simple.
I used to advise going with Godaddy for many reasons. They are cheap, accept paypal and have good customer service. Lately I've been having some small problems with them so I don't feel all that comfortable suggesting them as a good alternative.
I've used a number of different hosting services over the years but, to date, my favorite of all them (so far) has been Servage. I've personally never had a problem with them and, as for answering questions, their replies are amazingly quick (usually within minutes) and I've always found them to be extremely helpful (often going above and beyond what I may have requested from them). In addition, I find their pricing more than just a little comparible to other companies I've dealt with so that's a plus in itself right there. By all means, this is just my experience with them 'personally' but, in all honesty, I can't say I have ever been unhappy with any services they have provided me. I'd definitely give them my two thumbs up!
Has anyone tried Servage? My friend told me about them, says that they are from Germany and have crazy good rates and services.

Hostgator.com has been hosting my sites (25+) since 1995. I will not move to another hosting provider.
I thought of using all the fancy high reputed companies for hosting my new site but I always heard that they didn't have good customer service. I don't know if that is true or not. My friend has a hosting company and I used his for $8/3 months. It's really cheap and so far I have not had any problem. If you want the hosting then let me know and I can tell him about you.
I have been using JaguarPC for a long time and they have been great. They've also implemented a loyalty scheme so that you can get money off the longer you are with them, and the less you use support etc. The great thing is I don't need to use the support very often - they are extremely reliable.
i own CrabtreeHosting.com our uptime, price and 24/7 service are tops if you are looking for a very cheap price with great uptime TopHatHosting.net the price is only .83 cents a month. hope that helps
