    I think a $1000 will be more than enough unless your tastes are extravagant. Most Indians get by on a lot less and support families in the bargain.

    There has been a lot of talk about India in this forum. Glad to know that Indians are taking an interest in and perhaps evn doing well in Internet marketing.

    I believe if one get two meals and make his/her family happy,thats all what is required. The rest is Luxury.India is basically a cheap place, a 150$ per month will do there.:)

    It depends on which class you belong. As an indian I can say a:
    1) Lower Class person needs to have $300 per month.
    2) Middle Class person needs to have $1000-2000 per month
    3) Rich class person needs to have $10,000 per month.

    That is how they spend in India.

    COMFORTABLE and DECENT are the words according to each and every single individual.

    For someone 1000 INR itself a decent and comfortable income and for some not.

    So don't use those words please.
