The appearance/theme is already looks nice. But, just adjust the font to be smaller to look professional.
I think it's great! For a personal blog...great work. I also find the iphone and card counting news interesting.
The designs looks great. I think you need to merge the title with the header image and also compress the content looks more space between them, it affect the site to scroll long, it will be better.
The laptop and the main logo text at the top do not go with the rest of the site. Actually other than those, which hold the site back designwise, its quite good.
