I know that extensions like .de and .co.uk are pretty popular in their own countries, so I am curious how much value german language .coms would be worth compared to their .de extension Trying to get an idea if there is much value in these. I am also curious if most germans would be typing domain.de over .com and how those are viewed. any input is appreciated.
Pick the odd one out The Clap Sypallis A Citroen car A Baratt House And a German domain name The German Domain name is the odd one out. You may well be able to get rid of all the others.......but you will never get rid of a German domain name
I don't care if the German word for Money is GUEKDWODWO GUEKDWODWO.com will have some value. And your example is not that great as you are combining English and German. To people that can read German they probably look fine.
Actually some of the most valuable domains sold recently were in fact German. A good keyword is valuable in any language as long as there is sufficient demand in that country. The German Market is actually more robust than the UK, since you have Austria and Swiss too.
.coms have very good recall value..hence they are bound to attract greater value. If the targeted keyword is available in .com, then it would be a good choice over all other options.. Regards, RightMan
Here's some points for you to think about: -Germany has the largest economy in Europe -Germany has the 3rd largest economy in the world -Sedo (one of the largest domain companies in the world) is German So I imagine there would be a fair bit of value in German domains!
thank you very much for the input. While the domain in question is not a PREMIUM in the eyes of being like MONEY.com or Business.com etc etc, it is still worth hanging onto then as it could have some future use. Thanks
