Im already using an old version of owlcrofts Amazon webstore script on www.computer-remote-control.com Im looking to set up a new one. What script do you you use? My only condition is that it must have SEF URLS Thanks Andrew
http://www.chipdir.nl/amazon/ I use the one above , I tested 3 or 4 but that one was the simplest to sort out
Just starting using the script yesterday, after a day searching for the best free script and found it to be the best one. Includes mod_rewrite for SEO, nice clean code etc. http://www.freekrai.net/article/ASM2/
this appears just to be an addon to a site... i want lots of links to my own pages not direct to amazon. I couldnt get the CGI scripts working.. always errors...
There's a guy on the forum noppid. Here's a thread about is his offerings and here's the download page. It's very easy to setup and customising the template wasn't too hard either!
I would like to plug my modified version of freekrai's script. A link can be found in my sig. Also I have a couple of sites for sale in the 'for sale' forum that you could view as examples. Cheers - pilks
Pages seem to get indexed well, I agree. I tried to make it simple to template. You take your template and split it in half where the content goes into a seperate header.html and footer.html. However, it only lists books with a serach box for products. Interestingly enough, it sells books too. I'm testing this one... Motorcycle Store. It has book search now and a products page with search. The products page shows hot items chosen by an array of keywords passed to amazon below a search box. The books and products search pages search amazon and any items found are displayed locally on my site. I can now not only get an indexed page of each amazon book potentially, but for each amazon product as well. And thank you for the mentions folks. Appreciate it.
